Students are welcome to comment on the assessment and ask for further clarification of the mark given. Where possible this is achieved in a phone conversation with the marker, followed by an explanatory letter outlining how the mark could be improved. Students know their markers personally and this seems to encourage dialogue. Students are able to make a draft copy available to their tutor, who may discuss any difficulties and help improve their understanding. The basic policy is to learn the correct information, to avoid unlearning error. To appeal an assignment mark, contact the Principal.
