Dear All,

It was quite a shock to hear Lois say that the Inverell Practical over the long weekend would be the last one that she would run. It was sad to think that it was the end of an era. As we had all had the usual personally challenging time that such gatherings afford it was some time before the full meaning of it sank in for me. Oh!

But then, another door opened. Alan White, Manilla student and Host of the Manilla Abbey suggested that the LRCCS Practicals could be conducted from his establishment. Now I think he also invited Lois to officiate as the occasional guest lecturer when the Abbey is full of LRCCS students and she said yes.

Tutorial Practicals

Please notify the Tutors by Wednesday in the week before a Practical that you plan to attend. If the Tutor is aware of what practical work you need to achieve she can prepare appropriately.

Inverell Tutorial

Tutorials occur on the first Saturday of each month at Lois’s place except in November when it has been cancelled. Lois’s Phone is 6722 2279.

Moree Tutorial

Moree Tutorials usually run on the 3rd Tuesday each month from 9 to 1 at the Counselling Centre. This means that the next Tutorial is on November 16th. There is no December Tutorial. Wendy’s Phone No is 6752 3419.

Armidale/Uralla Practical

Lynn will be running a Saturday Practicals on November 6 from 9.30—4.00 in the Uralla Anglican Church Hall. All those students who still need practical hours ... this is your last chance!

Lynn also holds Tutorials in the Anglican Counselling Rooms in Armidale. The next will be Wednesday 3rd November from 11am to 3pm. Lynn can be contacted by phoning 6772 9753.

Tamworth Tutorial

On Saturday Nov 13 Dr Catherine Hungerford will conduct a Tutorial involving practical work. There will not be a Tutorial in December here as we will all be in Uralla at the Plenary Day.

And return all books to Book Returns Box.

Dates for the Know Yourself courses for next year and the new fee schedules have been prepared and are available at the Tamworth office.

Plenary Day at Uralla

There will be an end of year LRCCS gathering at Uralla Anglican Hall on 11th December from 10.00—3.30. Please ring 6765 2527 to register.

At these gatherings we combine some work and some fun and experience the joy of being involved with wonderful people on an amazing journey of growth and change.

From the Desk

I will be walking along the Milford Track in cold New Zealand from November 12th and thinking of you all! I will be back by December 6 so don’t stop working while I am gone.
