Dear All,I was thinking about the fantastic atmosphere at the LRCCS Graduation Ceremony and realised that all those who came that day have helped, in some way, to get this course to the stage it is. Rt Rev Smith spoke about the idea, in the 1970’s, of locally trained counsellors for the North West of NSW. It happened and continues because of the goodwill of many people. At present LRCCS operates on 1 full time wages with the assistance of at least 20 willing individuals who give time and expertise. An exciting Plenary Day for the Northern students was held at Inverell Anglican Hall last Saturday. Lois, Wendy and Donna explored aspects of counselling like “resistant and blocking” in clients. Plenary days are good for meeting with other students and Tutors and exploring issues in depth. Tutorials & PracticalsDo let your Tutor know if you are not attending.
