Dear All,

ANZAC Day has arrived and we are well into Autumn.  Time is certainly marching on.

As you know, there have been some changes in the office at LRCCS and Kathryn is starting to find her feet.  Fran will be focussing her energy on her Internship and being available as Kathryn’s Helpline!  A big thank you to Fran for all your hard work!

Kathryn is pulling many of the administrative tasks into one central point of call.  Currently the ACS staff at Ebsworth St will continue to handle all Unit Applications however this will move over to Kathryn in the next month.  You will be advised when this takes place.  Kathryn is also now your What’s It writer.  The other big change is we have a new email address: lrccs@westnet.com.au.

Tip Of The Month

Do you ever get to the end of the day and think that you have been busy all day but achieved nothing?  Maybe it’s time to re-affirm your priorities.  This means taking time to make time.

Go into a room, shut the door and take out pen and paper and start writing down the top priorities in your life e.g. family, faith, studies, work, own health and well-being.  These are your priorities so write down what is important for YOU.

Then consider what is getting enough time, too much time and not enough time.  Ask yourself: What am I doing that I don’t need to do?  What am I doing that is not one of my priorities AND who else could be doing it?

Time to get out your diary and start making some appointments with yourself.  Book in the time for those priorities and be willing to say no when others want that time you have allocated.  After all, you already have an appointment then!

Finally, learn to delegate or give back the stuff that you shouldn’t be doing.

Hope this helps!

Kathryn
