Dear All,

Have you wanted to be more involved in LRCCS?  Well, anyone who has an interest in the college, be it students, tutors, markers, volunteers and friends can join ADACTS.  ADACTS is the legal entity behind LRCCS.  Please see the flyer enclosed with this What’s It to find out more.

Other exciting news is that Jane Lepp, the librarian for our main library in Tamworth will now be in the library every Monday between the hours of 9am and 12.30 pm.  Jane can be reached on the LRCCS office number — 6762 5210.

Tutorials & Practicals

Inverell Tutorial

Lois is conducting the next Tutorial on

September 15th at 1 Granville St — please note change of venue

9.30 — 4pm.

Tamworth Tutorial

The next Tamworth Tutorial will be on September 8th and

will be held at 88 Bridge Street

9am – 4pm.

Jenny’s phone number is 6762 5210.

Armidale Tutorial

There will be no Armidale Tutorials for a while.

Moree Tutorial

There will be no Moree Tutorial in September.

Practical Dates

The next Residential Practical is:

bulletManilla Weekday 10th, 11th and 12th October

You will notice that this is scheduled for three weekdays during the school holidays.

A brochure and with the Registration Form is enclosed with this What’s It.  Please get all Registrations in to the LRCCS office by Friday 28th September.

Internship

We are currently seeking feedback on the Internship that LRCCS currently offers.  Richard Austin, your student representative on the Academic Board has compiled a questionnaire for students to complete and return to him.

Please take the time to provide your thoughts as this will help the College to meet your needs as students.

Please Note:  Completed questionnaires are NOT to be sent to the LRCCS office.  Please send them to Richard at the address on the bottom of the questionnaire.

Assignments

When sending in your assignments please address them to the marker of that particular Unit.  Below is the list of which marker marks which Units:

Wendy Long 100 (assignments 2 & 3)
Jenny Regan 100 (assignment 1 only), 102 and 104
Sharon Kirk 103
Lois Reid 101, 201, 202, 211, 219 and 304/308
Joy Harris 212 to 218
Catherine Hungerford All 300 Units except 304/308

We are asking you to do this so that when we forward assignments on to the markers we do not need to re-envelope them and pay additional postage and stationery costs.
