Dear All, I was reminded of just how good the training provided by this College is when I met with colleagues who teach counselling recently. To do 150 hours of supervised Practical work, related to a range of Counselling Models, (80% of which applies to relationship counselling) is excellent underpinning work for any further training in counselling you will do. We have received confirmation from Collette Garret at the Higher Education Board that students who enrolled in the Degree or Diploma courses when the course was accredited will receive the appropriate award when they finish their studies. It’s what we had thought but it’s good to have this confirmed officially. We have yet to be advised if we will be able to teach out those students.
