Dear All, The College is at a time of change. The course, the location of this office and the College connection with the Anglican Diocese are all in a process of change. Change is necessary but can be stressful and is often resisted by those who need to change. I pray that our transition will be achieved with a minimum of stress. Counsellors are change agents who often put the hard questions that others won’t. It is interesting to reflect on this role in the counselling relationship. We are taking advantage of the ongoing support of the Catholic community of Manilla and the children’s absence from school during school holidays. Students can book accommodation at a number of venues in Manilla. Most of us stay with Allen and Larraine White at The Retreat, (the old Catholic Convent), which is conveniently located next to the school at 43 Rowan Street. Three consecutive days of being seeped in counselling theory and practice is an excellent way to hone skills. Residential Registrations ....It is essential to attend the entire residential. Registrations should be made by the deadline so that catering and accommodations can be arranged Registration forms and more information are included with this newsletter. |
